I'm so tired tonight. I've been on the sofa all evening barely moving and when I got up just then to put Sherlock to bed it felt like I was made of lead.
As usual, the Met's been busy stretching the thin blue line a bit thinner. To the extent I was meant to be in a briefing for CTC and a meeting with the CPS at the same time today, and had to listen to the Super sorting out a fight over me on the phone.
AnonyBob was asking about evidence and ...ah, my brain isn't working... um, contamination, that was it.
The thing is, it depends, case by case, how important each bit of evidence is.
I mean... if the case depends on, say, a hair, from the victim, being found on the suspect's shirt, when the suspect swears blind they've never been anywhere near the victim, then that's so quite strong evidence they're lying.
But if you then discover the copper who arrested the suspect, before their clothes were taken for forensics, had, a few hours earlier, been sitting on the victim's mum's sofa consoling her...well, that's no evidence of anything. The brief would have a field day, if it ever got past the CPS and into court.
Whereas if that same suspect has that same hair found on them, but also a pair of bloodsoaked trainers, wringing with the victim's DNA, which were stuffed up a chimney in a black bag and found by a later search team...well, the hair wouldn't matter.
And Ttid asked about how it feels to put a murderer away when you know they have a famliy. Well, Yeah, you do feel sorry for kids, and relatives. Taking a parent away from a child is never ideal. But you've got to think about what that person did, and wether they'd even be a good influence on the child's life. And, most of all, you have to remember that no one but them got themselves in that situation, and it's not your fault. The family of the victim don't ever get to see their partner or parent or child again. At least prison has visiting times.
I think working Counter Terrorism means I'll be on a 3 shift pattern, which will be a bit odd. And on a response squad... I dont think the next few months are going to be too peaceful.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question Greg :-) It always seems interesting but I'm guessing it all just becomes a bit samey after a while.
I hope the counter terrorism stuff provides some new challenges for you and that the change in shift pattern is not too much bother. As they say 'a change is as good as a holiday' and seen as you won't be getting a holiday you better make the most of the change ;-)
Anonybob
What does a 3 shift pattern mean in practical terms? Does it mean you work shorter hours more days, or more hours fewer days?
(I'm sure it's nice to be wanted, but I'm betting you could do without the 2-meetings-at-the-same-time bit!)
Can you get one of these and and moosey things to it?
http://www.ufree-horse.com/
You know, sometimes the internet frightens me.
rsf (who was going to add this comment to the last post, but saw that you'd updated)
Oh, dear. There's a video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lRb8lGD8gII
rsf
It's clearly true--librarians can find ANYTHING!
AnonyBob - well, sometimes. Bt criminals never cease to amaze me!
RR - more days, fewer hours. Earlies, lates and nights, instead of days or nights.
But today...I'm walking Sherlock and John to school/work, going for a run in the rain, and coming back to the excitement of paperwork. Or sleep. And then hoping to get out on the ikes with John, get him used to riding in the rain, as it seems like a skill he needs right now...
The way the weather is at the moment, buying a boat might have made more sense.
And RSF, whatever happened to the good old-fashioned rocking horse?
L - I hope you both get a chance to ride in better weather soon! (And good luck with creating a moose. Why didn't John get tagged with that interesting task?)
And SH, I think I remember desperately wanting a similar toy in a commercial when I was about six. But I did originally google for "toy riding horse on wheels" and there were several other possibilities.
rsf
Enjoy your run and your ride Greg :-)
Paperwork sounds preferable to trying to make a moose! ;-)
Run was far harder than it should have been - need to go more often! Maybe when Mycroft's home to stay with Sherlock we'll get out more.
I'm.... Reviewing Sherlock's moose drawings, trying to salvage the possible from the impossible. (lasers for eyes are on the 'no' list.)
Once you've figured out the mechanics of the base and saddle, I expect the rest of the moose is just decoration. But even looking at the pictures of antique riding toys on the internet I admit I'm wondering whether you'd need a carpentry shop to work in. Know anyone with a big old rocking horse stashed in an attic somewhere?
rsf
It's impossible to do enough running to make it easy when you have all the responsibilities you have. Two months of Mycroft home might get you both up to fitness though and it's easier to maintain than to get there in the first place apparently :-)
I'm thinking laser eyes are probably in the book by now but if you can make it anything like what we know he asked for, nevermind the many other ideas he must have shared with you, then he will be a very lucky boy.
Enjoy your ride this afternoon :-)
I don't know whether you prefer a two- or three-shift schedule, L, but I imagine any change requires substantial adjustment. I hope it works out okay for you. Will you have to be switching back and forth, or just be transferred over for the duration of the Olympics, or don't you know yet?
Happy Fourth of July!!!! *sets off a few virtual fireworks* Of course that's a happier for the American readers than the Brits--unless you lot consider yourself better off without us :)!--but have some traditional hotdogs and apple pie anyway! And it's a nice thing to take a few minutes to read the Declaration of Independence. It's really pretty short--especially if you skip the list of grievances, which, being particular, aren't the really important bit--and it's one of the world's truly radical documents, put out there by people who were, quite literally, laying their Lives, Fortunes, and sacred Honor on the line.
Oh, and for anyone who doesn't want to celebrate American Independence Day (but who'd turn down hotdogs and fireworks? :)), it's also Alice in Wonderland Day, July 4th being the day the Reverend Charles Dodgson first made up and told the story to the original Alice and her sisters. :)
unless you lot consider yourself better off without us Um, well, now you come to mention it ...
I think laser eyes on the moose would be cool, but I can see how they'd be impractical. Will Sherlock settle for glowing eyes?
Well then, SH--have a hotdog! :D
Why didn't John get tagged with that interesting task?
I expect because he knows I'd have no idea where to start!
Not your area of expertise then, John? My sympathies. I'd be trying to come up with a few hundred bucks for one of those bouncy horses and then tying upside-down wire clothes hangers I'd bent into approximate moose shapes to the ears. And then despairing when they flopped over!
Happy Fourth, RR! and Happy "we don't have to deal with your politicians yay! day" to SH and the rest of you over there across the pond.
rsf
I can't imagine hot dogs, fire works or Alice in wonderland will feature much in Sherlock's day. Or mine.
Oh, you never know--Mrs T might mention Alice in Wonderland Day. :) (Or even possibly American Independence Day!)
Your day, of course, is going to lean more to bike rides and moose-building, but hey, at least the ride should be worthy of a "Hace a Happy"! :)
"HaVe a Happy." *stupid virtual keyboard*
I certainly hope you don't have any fireworks in yours, L!
rsf
firework antlers on the moose might be fun?
Hah, thanks, Anon...
It might get a head that moves as it rolls along.
Depends if a. mrs T wants a massive moose afterward and b. if I can borrow some workshop space from someone else.
A giant bobblehead moose, with Sherlock riding it... Yup, I can see that.
Seriously Greg you could make its head move? I can see why Sherlock asked you to do it :-)
I hope its not too wet for your ride gentlemen and I hope you have fun on...insert name here when you've decided.... John :-)
I could, possibly, if i end up making it.
Am i the only one who keeps nearly saying moose T?
Ha! Well, I don't because "moose T" makes me think of this (when it's not sending me to Bullwinkle, or possibly something new to brew).
It's a moosetery.
I'm impressed Greg I really am I hope Mrs T wants one really so you can make it :-)
you're not the only one no and its even worse now I know I'm not the only one either ;-)
AnonyBob - I think it's spelt mousse t, but glad I'm not the only one! I almost called Mrs T it this afternoon... oops.
Happy 4th July to everyone. Particularly anyone in China ;)
Sure you don't mean...Mooses T?
I've heard the word moose so many times today that it's lost all meaning.
It would have been a huge moostake.
Well... you can eat mousse tonight, if that will help give meaning back to it?
Mrs T looked sort of.... resigned to becoming custodian of a giant moose.
Maybe she can fob it off on Mooses N next year.
Is this chocolate moose we're speaking of?
Maybe... showdown in the staffroom.
And yes, choccy mousse.
Maybe she really wants one. Maybe we've mooseapprehended the situation.
Sounds delicious. :)
Dark chocolate and... something mousse. maybe orange. Or ... any suggestions?
Maybe Mrs n will refuse on grounds of elk and safety.
Or maybe she'll feel taking it will en-deer her to her new students...
Raspberry? Orange would be nice as well though. Or coffee?
Elk and safety... I don't have an emoticon for this, you'll have to look at my actual face.
I like looking at your actual face.
Espresso and chocolate mousse.... mmmmmmmm.
Now, buck up before you stag-nate, we need some ingredients while the sun very briefly shines...
Is the Doc looking mooserable?
I don't think it can be that, SH--John being sad is something L would definitely caribou-t.
If you make this moose, L, I really want to see a picture. If it's weatherproof, maybe the school could just keep it by the pond. In later years they could then refer to that section of the grounds as "Sherlock Park"
John -- Fed won easily, so now I'm watching the Murray/Ferrer match, which is pretty amazing so far! First two sets went to tie-break, and they're at one set each. Hope your clinic hours are going well.
ryo
But not a staggering amount of espresso, please. Too much before Sherlock's bedtime would be a moosetake. Could lead to a att-yak of insomnia.
He's just a bit doe-eyed.
(whilst he waits for his moose, Sherlock has decided to ride on my shoulders. I'm honoured, really. Shame I don't have laser eyes either, to carve through the hoardes of tourists.)
Ryo - I've lost track, are Tsonga and Kohlschreiber on yet? I've seen no tennis today at all - which apparently is good luck for Federer.
John -- Yes, Tsonga and Kohlschrieber are playing right now. Tsonge is up two sets to 1, 3 games to 1 in the fourth set. I haven't been watching it though.
ryo
I'm sure Sherlock would always prefer your shoulders, L, but the script calls for a moose. Wapiti!
(Okay, that really needs another syllable to sound like what-a-pity, but it's the best I can do!)
He's going into withdrawal about the tennis...
I may possibly have some news to cheer him.
Danger...I got an email about work today. There might be one bright side for you in the whole 'shuffle Lestrade around to another team' thing..
Oh yes?
Mmmm. Well... there are downsides, too, so don't get too excited. (6-2, 2-10, 10-6 being one of them.)
But I will, in part, be back in uniform.
Obviously I only think you'll like it because I know you enjoy ironing and polishing stuff and generally tweaking and righting all the stupid bits that come with uniforms. Or, I presume you do, because you joined the army.
...Why? I mean, why will you be back in uniform, not why would I enjoy polishing your hardware.
That comment made sense, once I realised that 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 was not tennis related!
A man in uniform, hmmmmmm
Lancs. Anon
Sadly, when I first saw the shift times you put there, the 6-2 put me in tennis mode so I sat there thinking "you can't have a 2-10 or 10-6 set -- that doesn't make any sense!"
The Murray/Ferrer match is suspended right now for rain. Murray is winning 2 sets to 1, 5 games all in the fourth set. Maybe they will close the roof.
Tsonga is done beating Kohlschrieber.
John probably already knows this, but Clijsters lost a couple days ago, sadly. There is no one left in the women's singles that I'm terribly excited about now.
ryo
Won't be all the time. I'll undoubtedly also be sitting around the office lots too. And other times just wearing the vest and a rather fetching cap.
But the government wants high visibility policing for the games, so...well, high visibility means getting dressed up, not slouching about in jeans and stuff.
Afterall, it would never do for the public not to see the terrorists as they realise we're coming for them... or something.
(And I think you all know I wouldn't know a tennis score if it bit me.)
Murray wins with an ace in the THIRD tie-break of the match!
So it's Tsonga/Murray and Federer/Djokovic in the semis.
ryo
I'm sure you'll make all the tourists feel very secure, L. (In addition, of course, to making them actually BE more secure. But the uniform doesn't so much have to do with that part.)
(See if you can get us a picture of L in full uniform, John, please! :))
lestallion in uniform and Danger polishing his hardware, sounds like at interesting summer ahead ;-)
RR - I won't actually be on patrol. Just going where I'm sent.
AnonyBob - I fear he's going to refuse to polish it. (actually, new uniforms I'm not sure come with anything polish-able...he'll have to find other things about me to buff ;) )
I assumed that, in a vague kind of way, L--I was just going with the "visibility" bit. :)
And other times just wearing the vest and a rather fetching cap.
0_0
Now there's an image to be going on with...
High visibility policing is all well and good, but I would have thought that it kind of defeats the purpose for CT?
I can't see John refusing any kind of buffing or polishing Greg but you know him better than me ;-)
Well.... that's when I'm at home. At work I'll be wearing jeans, a shirt, a stab vest and fetching cap...
I think the high visibility bit is so the news can get good pics of us all bursting through doors and stuff. The rest of the time we'll be hiding in plain clothes, so to speak... just means I'm being issued the whole uniform deal so I've got it when I need it. More forms to fill in...
I know an assignment is an assignment, L, but...it sounds to me like you're maybe a bit, well, ambivalent about this one?
I think I'm ambivalent about most of them. It's better than what I could have been assigned to. But I'd rather stay with MIT.
I was wondering which part of you was going to be in uniform. From that it sounds like your head
and torso - or do you have plain clothes stab vests?
How long are you with them for Greg?
How's the moose coming on? Sherlock had anymore brilliant ideas?
Hope you've had a fun day off and are having a good evening :-)
But I'd rather stay with MIT.
I can certainly understand that.
How long is the change for, just the length of the Olympics? Or pretty much starting now-ish?
SH - all of me, on occasion. They have special uniforms for certain ops. Not the same as beat-bobbies.
I'm trying to get caught up on their files now, and will probably move the week before the olympics and stay as long as they want me to.
Unless someone else comes up with a bright idea about where else I'd be more useful in the meantime.
The moose is very much in the planning stages.
Seems odd to pull you off something you're very good at and that still needs to be done. Sometimes I wonder about your superiors.
Ah, well, murders have been banned during the games, see? Everyone told to be on their best behaviour. Like not driving in the stupid Olympic lanes and therefor sitting in gridlock for hours instead looking longingly at that empty strip of tarmac...
Sal will be acting up as DI in my absence - although I won't be very absent, as I'll still be at the yard sometimes.
That's good to know Greg, still right there if anybody needs to find you
Banned, eh? They really ought to think about making that a more permanent law...
Ttid - err...yeah, good to know... (I do almost wish I could be put somewhere where they couldn't find me!). I think it's just their way of trying to get me to do both jobs at once.
Danger - I'll suggest it!
But right now I'll suggest bed? I've got to go and see a man about a moose tomorrow, while you're busy at work.
Definitely bed. I can't wait to see the finished moose. I'm sure it will be...amazing.
I'm making no guarantees. I'm just sussing out possibilities.
One possibility is still 'no moose'.
I believe that there will not only be a moose, but it will be, not merely "amazing", but AMAZING!
:)
A moose once bit my sister.
rsf
Thank you, rsf. I was afraid I was going to have to do the obligatory Python bit all by myself. Now I'm ready to step in after you get sacked as the previous person working on these credits.
MNAnon
RSf - you should tell her to watch out for dentists. They could lead anyone astray.
Right... More of yesterday. Build on a good day off. Going to walk, run, ride and.... Talk moose.
You're welcome, MNAnon. *dons llama disguise* We can both visit the lovely lovely lakes together.
While watching out for dentists. And small elfs who want to be dentists, too!
rsf (who clearly needs more sleep)
Have a good run, L!
Have a great walk/run/ride/talk, L! :)
Had a mixed morning. Good run. Now waiting for the gorgeous doc to get home and eat lunch I made. And not eat the tart I made for later. Not even a little bit. Not even just to test it.
You're strong, you can do it!!!
On the other hand, quality control is very important... :)
(How "mixed"? That all sounds good.)
You spoil your boys Greg with all your cooking and baking ;-) (I'm not jealous at all!!)
I'm glad your run was good and I hope the things that made the morning mixed are not too big a problem. Enjoy your afternoon :-)
Not a problem. Well, maybe a bit, in terms of moose building.
I just... well, in the great custody-of-friends divide that happens when a couple split up, i think Bryan got the bloke I went to see.
I'm not jealous, I'm just hungry.
What sort of tart is it, and are you making anything special for when Mycroft gets home on Saturday? He must miss your baking at school.
rsf
Oh, ouch, L. That must be a bit like stepping on a stair that isn't there.
Clearly, the Doc will have to administer some extra hugs at lunchtime. :)
well isn't he an unlucky bloke some people get no luck at all do they?!!
Sherlock will be quite happy with a moose of any description made by you :-)
L - sorry, love. Do you want to talk about it?
Or we could just eat your tart...
You're not eating the tart!
RSF - strawberry and gooseberry.
I dunno, Isuppose it's been a long time since i saw him. Probably should have worked a bit harder staying in touch.
Well. I hope he wasn't unpleasant.
Are you suuuure?
Not really.
And yea, certain. For a start, we need to buy creme fraiche whilst fetching Sherlock, to go with it.
That does sound good...
(You could just as well say he should have worked a bit harder at staying in touch, you know, L.)
That tart must smell awfully good!
I could, except he's not the one who's moved house twice without telling anyone their new address, who has now turned up after 2 years wanting a favour...
You didn't change you job, your email, you mobile number...
(And I don't imagine it would have made a difference, if he'd chosen sides, when you contacted him, really. Except that you wouldn't have had an unpleasant surprise today.)
Anyway, in a very real sense, his loss!
That tart sounds absolutely delicious! *hungry now*
do you stew the fruit first Greg? we have a gooseberry bush to harvest and gooseberry tart sounds delicious :-)
Mmm, the tart does sound good. Now I'm even hungrier!
My sympathies though for running into one of the bumps of life. It's always hard to know what the reaction of old mutual friends is going to be when two people part ways.
rsf
AnonyBob - no, just leave them to macerate in lemon zest and sugar and theur own juice.
Rr - I changed my personal mobile, and most people don't phone the yard hoping youre free for a social chat. The switchboard discourages it.
Thanks for that Greg :-) I hope you all enjoy eating it after dinner.
Still email available, though! (But if you want it to be your fault.... :))
Hope the three of you are doing something fun now!
Look at it this way RR is it better to think that you lost a friend because you've been too busy to be in contact, moved around a lot and could have tried harder but chose not to OR because they chose to be friends with your ***** ex instead? I know which I'd go for and it wouldn't be because I wanted to be at fault it would just be the easiest idea to cope with.
(I was just teasing/joking a bit there, yeah? My point being that it likely wouldn't've made any difference when you got in touch with him, he'd probably have been the same. I'm sorry for the less than fun encounter.)
sorry Greg I maybe shouldn't have said that sorry.
Anony--Actually, I'd definitely prefer it the other way around. But that's me.
Don't worry AnonyBob - I hadn't quite looked at it like that, but yeah, it is easier to think of it like that.
RR - I don't tend to hand out work email addresses to my friends, to be honest. I think perhaps bloke have more casual friendships than women, to make a massive generalization. We saw each other at parties, in the pub, that sort of thing.
And if I'd kept in touch he probably would have a far less skewed idea of how things had gone between me and Bry. It's not about taking blame, it's about being realistic and learning from it, I'd say.
Glad you didn't mind Greg :-)
I hope the tart lived up to billing and that you all have a lovely evening :-)
It's the only sort of time I'll be happy that a tart has left Danger laying back on the sofa, smiling and satisfied.
Well, I do see your point. And also I'd say--agreeing it's a massive generalization!--that yes, men do tend to have more casual relationships, more centered on shared interests, maybe? I mean, I have quite a number of male friends, and they have friends they do one thing with (go fishing, or play poker, that kind of thing) and thst's pretty much it. Not that they don't have close friends, but they do have all these compartmentalized friends too. Most of the female friends I have, on the other hand, even when they meet other women through a shared interest, tend to keep up with each others lives in general.
Tarts are good for that ;-)
I'm glad it was as nice as it sounded like it would be :-)
L - your tarts are deliciously filling.
Just like...me?
So, you planned somewhere for us to ride on Sunday, then? It is, afterall, the day of worship.. and I can think of little better to worship than you and the bikes...
Quite like you, yes.
I haven't really planned, no, but there is a place we can eat lunch in a greenhouse if you want to.
lunch...in a greenhouse.
You're not just going to take me scrumping in some poor retired surgeon's greenhouse or something, are you?
It sounds lovely. If Mrs H will look after Sherlock.
Why would it be a retired surgeon's greenhouse?
It's this, in fact: http://www.petershamnurseries.com/cafe.asp
And she will, I've asked her. She and Sherlock are going to have another date. She's taking him to see the Alan Turing thing at the science museum.
I don't know... a greenhouse sounds like the sort of thing retired surgeons would have... and young medical students would abuse :)
That looks amazing.
And Sherlock's on a second date, huh? I haven't even had a first...
Better ask him out quick before Mrs H proposes. She's a fast mover!
Do you want to have a greenhouse someday?
I wouldn't wish to come between them now. It's a match made in... well, a patisserie, or something.
And...yes. Probably.
Speaking of (sort of), have you seen my cactus?
Your actual cactus or your euphemistic cactus?
my actual cactus. the one that lives on the kitchen windowsill. The one I occasionaly refer to as 'Mr Cactus'.
I saw it this morning. Is it not there now?
it is...I meant, he's grown a massive long tendril. He's never done that before. And it's going to flower. Seriously, it's almost a foot long - he's grown that in a week! I'm possibly more excited than I should be...
I didn't even notice! Admittedly, I hadn't had tea yet. What colour will it be, do you know?
And how do you anthropomorphise your cactus but not your bike?
(for the pedantic - he's probably a succulent, not a cactus. But I refuse to call him 'Mr Succulent'. That's John's name.)
Danger - it is very skinny, and sort of growing up the corner of the window.
I think they might be pink? I don't know - he's never done it before. And I've had him... about 15 years.
Me and Mr C have been through a lot. He's my only surviving plant. Rescued him from a flat I rented once. He was brown and crispy and dead... but I used to chuck a bit of water at him some days, and he came back to life.
15 years! Why's he doing it now?
I don't know! See above re: 'more excited than I should be'.
I think he likes you...
Oh...and on Saturday, I've managed to get scheduled on for World Pride march. I'm not happy. But I thought we could meet after work? I'm going to try and escape early...
This also sounds like the beginning of a sinister science fiction film.
Yeah, Sherlock and I will go and collect Mycroft and Anthea, dogs, books, clothes...everything, and meet you whenever. Is this still your normal job, or counterterrorism?
If Mr Cactus flowering is the result of the Large Hardon Colluder (as it's known.), then I think we've got off lightly.
Normal job, so don't get all excited that I'll be at Pride in uniform.
But Jo and Lisa will be there. They said to phone if we wanted to meet.
Ha! True enough.
Sherlock still desperately wants to be painted.
I'm with you about the movie thing, John--Little Shop of Horros, anyone? :)
I'm hoping for a photo when it flowers, L!
Rats about L working on Pride. But with any look it should all come together in the end--Mycroft & co., Jo and Lisa, body painting, and L getting off in good time!
I always hope to get off in good time...
good time?
the right time?
plenty of times?
She and Sherlock are going to have another date. She's taking him to see the Alan Turing thing at the science museum.
That sounds like a fantastic date. I'm not sure if I'm more jealous of that one or the bike ride to the greenhouse cafe.
As many times as possible?
MNAnon
as often as possible?
HM
...
*getting off work in good time.
(Do you know it took me the entire past hour to figure out what you all were talking about? *sigh*)
don't believe ya, don't believe ya, don't believe ya ;)
HM
Well, I thought I wrote "work",
*considers relative merits of coyness and stupidity*
You're right, of course, HM!
Oh, Sherlock should DEFINITELY go to the Universe of Sound exhibit in the Science Museum.
http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/visitmuseum/galleries/Universe_of_Sound.aspx
It's a collaboration with the London Philharmonic, they play The Planets by Holst, and it explains a great deal about the science behind instruments. Plus you can conduct the orchestra yourself, play the percussion, talk to members of the orchestra, and learn about all the different bits of the orchestra.
My brother (nearly concert-level cellist) was in heaven and even I spent about 2hours in there.
And Sherlock, if you ask them nicely, you can hit the gong REALLY loud!! (And at the right time in the piece too, it's brill)
Wow. That sounds even better than the Science Museum in Boston. You should go, Sherlock and tell us about it! I wonder if they'd let you bring your violin along.
rsf
I agree with rsf, Jaws--that sounds quite amazing! I hope you do go, Sherlock, I'd love to hear more about it.
That does look good. I'm in London in a couple of weeks time, so I shall definitely try to get there.
I'm hoping to get a day trip to London in a week or two, I think I'm going to be spending most of the day at the Science Museum at this rate :-)
Nameless & SH (and Sherlock and Mrs H too!) I highly recommend eating around South Ken station if you go to the Science museum, lots of lovely places...like Comptoir Libanais (Lebanese), Greenfields (cafe/high tea) and Paul (French bakery).
If/when you go, please say hello to the university building next to the museum (Sir Alexander Fleming building), it's where I spent most of my life this past year :)
