I know i'm far from perfect, nothin' like your entourage

For those of you who missed Sherlock's complaints about me on John's blog - we were both feeling pretty crap, so he was all cuddled up on me on the sofa, and accused me of breathing noisily and having an unnecessarily loud heartbeat.

In trying to persuade John to join me on the sofa now Sherlock's gone for an early night I promised to subdue any annoying bodily functions, and John said:

I don't know, your heart's pretty loud... Guess I'll risk it though.

Which just made me think of this. Lovely voice she's got - fantastic writer. Wish I had even a quarter of her talent. I sang it to John...very quietly. But you can have the proper version.

Sorry, not up to much more of an update than that. My eyeballs feel like they're trying to burrow into my skull.

I'm sorry you're feeling rubbish Greg :-( and that Sherlock's not good either.

Lots of water, lots of cuddles and a good nights sleep and you'll feel however you feel in the morning ;-)

It's beautiful. Both versions.

She's got a fantastic set of lungs on her. But my heart does beat only for you...sort of...now. Well, that and the movement of blood around my body. So beats for both of us, I suppose...

Thanks AnonyBob - it actually started last night. I can usually shake them off by sleeping. But as I get older they seem to linger more.

I really meant what I said earlier about a bug going around. The number of adults I've spoken to in the last week who said they were feeling tired and headachey for a couple of days makes me think there must be something beyond coincidence.

Lots of sick kids around as well sadly :-(

I hope you're evening is relaxed and you feel better soon :-)

cheers.

I am slightly terrified that Sherlock will recover overnight and be up at sparrow's fart...

If he is, I'll deal with it.

oooh, I love it when you're all commanding.

Just make sure you listen to your doctor. And do as you are told - you need to set a good example to the smaller patient ;)

And I hope you both feel better in the morning.

Feel better, L. (And Sherlock, too.)

And that's a beautiful song.

Good, because I'm going to order you into bed very shortly.

Lovely song.

And if what Sherlock's got is anything like what's been going around on my side of the pond, he'll be up in the middle of the night. And miserable. I hope not, though for both your sakes.

what is going around your side of the pond...prepare John - he's not as his best in the middle of the night! Well...better than early in the morning, actually.

I bet it's a little different if a doctor is what's needed in the middle of the night--or even early in the morning. :) (But I really hope you won't find out.)

Nah, I'm sure he'd just stumble about looking for tea while you flailed about in a puddle of your own bodily fluids...

I hope Sherlock only has what my little one had and that he's better, if quieter than normal, by morning.

John, I hope you're not up much in the night and that you get enough sleep to keep you well.

Hope you're feeling better once you all wake up.
